Destination Moon are Damaris Baker, David Ashton and Tom Kazas. They make music by ‘playing’ found objects - saucepan lids, glass bowls, wooden boxes, odd pieces of metal - combining these with acoustic and electronic instruments to create a mixture of unusual rhythms, sonic textures and evocative melodies. The band is based in Melbourne, Australia and their debut CD is available through Feral Media, part of the POW WOW series.
